Here's to Not Knowing How to be a Domestic College Student

Well, the inevitable happened today. This morning, we all woke up, happy it was Sunday. So we decided we would cook ourselves a nice Sunday meal. We had cooked a roast once before and it turned out really good so we tried to get creative and make a more legit meal. Excited about having a delicious dinner, we put the roast in the crock pot with some nice seasonings and then cut up some potatoes and carrots to add to it. We left it cooking all day and then when church was over, us 3 starving girls drive home so excited about this amazing dinner we would have. We got all cute and set the table and said our little prayer and everything and dug in. The roast was so tough. The carrots and potatoes were crunchy. We all exchanged looks of disappointment. Then threw our food away. Needless to say, we had some delicious PB & J for dinner. Here's to learning how to cook one fail at a time.

Here's to those Unforgettable Nights.

Days like this are the ones to live for.
This is what I expected college to be like. Making new friends, and making already existing friendships even better. From attempting to work out, struggling to pass classes, having a bonfire, eating excessive amounts of fatty foods, and laughing nonstop, you could say it was a good night. I am truly blessed, and tonight was another reminder of that. Here's to lots of love, laughs, and friendship.

Here's to being a Freshman.

My first blog post is dedicated to what is happening right this second. The attempt to work out in college. Where we have 36 donuts (that we got for free). And ice cream. Right. In. The. Kitchen. I'm sure you can imagine how that is going. We do however, have one resilient friend who has managed to continue on for the whole video, and is still going. For the other three of us... well, you could say we had some donuts and the couch was just calling our names. I hope that if you have exercise goals, you accomplish them much better than we have. Here's to college and the freshman 15.
