Here's to Best Friends.

Now I need to make a post for my other two favorite people here.
Mah girlz Aubrey and Bailey.
*I shouldn't try to be gangster... I'll leave that to them*

They are seriously so fun. I can't get over how much we laugh and laugh.
I honestly don't know how I have lasted so long without them!!

Bailey is the bees knees. For real. She has the best personality and is guaranteed to be able to make you laugh. But she also has the most kind heart and is so giving to everyone around her, even if it means sacrificing her own needs. She truly knows me and is always there for me when I need someone to talk to. Love you Bai.

Aubrey... I just love her. For only knowing her for 3 months, I feel like I have known her my whole life. We are pretty much the same person. She seriously cracks me up, there are times when I am in a terrible mood and she can turn it right around. She also has an amazing spirit and has been such a great example to me.

Here's to my home girls. :) Love you both so much!

Here's to the Best Roomies.

Being here at BYU has been the most amazing, stressful, fun, annoying experience of my life.
I thought I had experienced every single emotion possible until I came here.
I absolutely love it! Don't get me wrong.
But there are days when I just want to pack up and leave, because I feel like that is the only solution.
COLLEGE IS HARD.
I have never been so behind on homework and the tests are outrageous.

But there are 2 people who always know how to help me.
They can always tell if something is wrong, no matter how hard I try to hide it.
They can make me laugh until I'm about to pee my pants.
Aubrey even took my turn doing the dishes... and if you know Aubrey... she HATES doing the dishes.
Elise can always get a laugh out of me when she comes walking out in cheetah footie pajamas and curlers in her hair.
They are seriously the best.

LOVE YOU TWO SO MUCH.

So here's to you guys. :)

Here's to Happy Things

Things that make me happy...

Seeing cute little families laugh as they run around and play tag together
Crisp leaves crunching underneath my feet
Eating brownies on a weekly basis
When my Bailey serenades me, singing and play the guitar
Mary Kate and Ashley movies on VHS
Dressing up as Audrey Hepburn
Pulling our mattresses into the living room to have a sleepover
Getting that specific letter in the mail
Wearing cheetah footies in public more often than in private
When kids jump in a pile of leaves
Walking around campus feeling so lucky to be there
The knowledge of the Gospel
My cute missionary
Quote walls
Cramming way too many people in my tiny car
The Malt Shop
My amazing friends that I can be 100% myself with
Daily text messages of love and encouragement from my mom
Hilarious snapchats from my sister
The fact that Celine Dion's new album comes out soon
Daily scripture study
Getting compliments from people I don't even know
Late night conversations with Aubrey in her bottom bunk and me on the top bunk
Laughing literally all the time with my friends
Hot chocolate on crisp, cold October days
Buying way too many VHS at the D.I.
My adorable 90-year-old grandma
Drinking lots of Sunny D and eating way too much ramen
Spending $8 on a single waffle from a cute little waffle truck
Having the best family and friends to support me

Here's to the little things.

Here's to Not Knowing How to be a Domestic College Student

Well, the inevitable happened today. This morning, we all woke up, happy it was Sunday. So we decided we would cook ourselves a nice Sunday meal. We had cooked a roast once before and it turned out really good so we tried to get creative and make a more legit meal. Excited about having a delicious dinner, we put the roast in the crock pot with some nice seasonings and then cut up some potatoes and carrots to add to it. We left it cooking all day and then when church was over, us 3 starving girls drive home so excited about this amazing dinner we would have. We got all cute and set the table and said our little prayer and everything and dug in. The roast was so tough. The carrots and potatoes were crunchy. We all exchanged looks of disappointment. Then threw our food away. Needless to say, we had some delicious PB & J for dinner. Here's to learning how to cook one fail at a time.

Here's to those Unforgettable Nights.

Days like this are the ones to live for.
This is what I expected college to be like. Making new friends, and making already existing friendships even better. From attempting to work out, struggling to pass classes, having a bonfire, eating excessive amounts of fatty foods, and laughing nonstop, you could say it was a good night. I am truly blessed, and tonight was another reminder of that. Here's to lots of love, laughs, and friendship.

Here's to being a Freshman.

My first blog post is dedicated to what is happening right this second. The attempt to work out in college. Where we have 36 donuts (that we got for free). And ice cream. Right. In. The. Kitchen. I'm sure you can imagine how that is going. We do however, have one resilient friend who has managed to continue on for the whole video, and is still going. For the other three of us... well, you could say we had some donuts and the couch was just calling our names. I hope that if you have exercise goals, you accomplish them much better than we have. Here's to college and the freshman 15.
